Pingos offer a very unique geographical formation. It is a dome-shaped mound consisting of layers of soil over a large core of ice, occurring in permafrost areas. You must definitely witness this natural phenomenon as it's one of the main attractions in the region. Home to the largest concentration of pingos in the world, such things can reach up to 230 feet in height and 2000 feet in diameter. These are a visual treat during winters and the largest one stands at 15-story high.
