The O'Keefe Ranch is a historic property that is worth visiting if you're in the region; it's close to Vernon. The ranch is committed to conserving historical ranching artefacts and the local O'Keefe family heritage. The O'Keefe family moved to the property in 1867, at a time when it was the last stop on the wagon path and, at one point, had a post office, blacksmith shop, mill, and church. You may keep yourself occupied all day long by seeing farm animals, historic buildings, and museum displays.

A fantastic ski resort called Big White can be found just southeast of Kelowna. It is amazing to be able to get from the valley, which is warmer, to the snow-covered slopes, where you can enjoy some skiing or snowboarding. 118 alpine routes and 25 Nordic trails make up the astounding amount of runs available here. Even though the winter months might be a tonne of fun, you can also check out the hiking trails nearby if you visit in the summer.
